Basics is a label releasing music worldwide — digitally and on wax, founded by french artist and music activites Le Hutin. Basics Recording label is on a tour on an international scale with past and upcoming showcases in Geneva, Essaouira, Lille, Amsterdam, Paris, Biarritz, Stuttgart, Madrid, Tbilissi & many more yet to come.

We’re all about music that has a soul. If House music or Garage are at the heart of what we do, our vibe and sound isn’t restrictive to a genre but about distilling some amazing energy - as we’re down for anything rooted in jazz, funk, disco, deep vibes and rare grooves. We believe the energy matters over genre specifications, and that our parties should remain well open to music appreciation as a sole goal. We believe that diversity should be enforced, for the crowd, for the artist, for the music.


We've also decided to maintain 12” records production as a way to salute art and House culture, keeping the tradition well alive while pushing new sounds and artists forward, providing a physical medium that is built to last over time. We’re not trying to change the world — we just want to make it a little more fun, connected, and full of music.
